David is a partner at Providence Ventures, where he focuses on investments primarily in medical devices, healthcare services and healthcare information technology. Prior to joining Providence Ventures, David worked for River Cities Capital Fund (“RCCF”), most recently as a Principal on their healthcare team. During his time with RCCF, David worked closely with Veran Medical, where he served on the Board of Directors. In addition, he participated on the deal teams for River Cities’ investments in Bolder Surgical, TissueTech (sold), OrthAlign, NICO Corp., and Advanced Practice Strategies (sold), among others. David also most recently served as President and Board Member of Mid-America Health Investors Network (MHIN), where he represented roughly 60 active healthcare funds with offices spread throughout Middle America.

Prior to River Cities, David served as a principal and investment advisor with American Financial Group and completed extensive training programs with Merrill Lynch and Procter & Gamble.

David graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and received his MBA with a concentration in finance from Xavier University’s Williams College of Business.
