Sarah joined Providence Ventures as a senior associate in 2019.
Prior to PV, Sarah earned her MBA at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth where she was a fellow in the Center for Healthcare, New England Regional Champion/Global Finalist in the MBA Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC), and national member of the Women’s Association of Venture and Equity (WAVE). At Tuck she partnered with professors from both the MBA program and Dartmouth’s medical school to create and develop two new MBA courses beginning in 2018 and 2020 in the fields of Health and Wellness and Gender Studies, respectively. She served as a medical consultant for startups founded by Tuck/Dartmouth alumni in addiction medicine, healthcare services, and orthopaedic devices, and worked as an investment analyst at Camber Capital Management, a health care-focused hedge fund in Boston.
Before Tuck, Sarah received residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx and earned her MD from the University of Toledo College of Medicine in 2014. Prior to medical school she performed Neuropsychiatry research at Massachusetts General Hospital where she authored various publications and textbook chapters on translational research methods and pharmacological interventions for trauma. She received her BA in behavioral neuroscience from Yale University.
